Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using, toast the walnuts in the oven for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
- In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, chopped walnuts, honey (if using), and cinnamon (if using).
- Carefully open each date and fill them with the cottage cheese mixture.
- Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until warmed and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Consider pairing with fresh fruit, cheese, or a light salad. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
