  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped Optional: toast for extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using, toast the walnuts in the oven for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, chopped walnuts, honey (if using), and cinnamon (if using).
  4. Carefully open each date and fill them with the cottage cheese mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until warmed and slightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Consider pairing with fresh fruit, cheese, or a light salad. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
